About SJMC

Shanghai Jiao Tong University Minecraft Club is a student organization founded in May 2021 by SJTU students who are passionate about Minecraft and its derivative content.

SJMC uses Minecraft as a carrier to shape a digital campus experience with virtual reality technologies. Its core project, Voxel-SJTU, builds a highly realistic, immersive and interactive 3D campus, hosts virtual ceremonies and academic events, designs digital cultural projects and has produced multiple published research outcomes.
