The software is distributed under GNU General Public License v3.0.

By GPLv3 License term 7, when you distribute a modified version of the software, you must comply with GPLv3 as well as the following additional terms:

1. Use a different software name than SJMCL or SJMC Launcher.
2. Clearly state in your README, distribution website, related documentation or About page that your program is based on SJMCL, and provide a link to the original repository.
3. When your changes are limited solely to adding preset authentication servers, the restriction in clause 1 does not apply, and you may continue to compile and distribute under the original name.

In addition, when distributing a modified version, please send version numbers with a distinct prefix to the statistics server unless your changes satisfy clause 3 above.
